LifeQuest educational and digital learning classes are available to adults of all ages. Our program is based on an open-university concept, with no homework, tests or grades. The educational classes consist of four terms annually. Each term offers classes on a variety of topics - physical health, art, financial management, literature, “Great Books”, Spanish, media, politics, history and current events. New classes are added each term; all are developed and coordinated by a Curriculum Committee made up of LifeQuest volunteers.
Online classes are held via Zoom or Facebook. In-person classes are held at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive in Little Rock. The registration fee is $65 and covers all classes in an eight week term. The registration fee for our four week summer term is $35. Some classes require an additional class fee. Some classes are limited and filled on a first come/first serve basis.
The digital learning classes offer a variety of classes throughout the year with a focus on digital learning with topics including basic computers, online banking & shopping, basic PowerPoint and navigating iPads & iPhones. Fees for each class will vary and will include a manual for each student to take home. In addition, one-on-one computer and/or iPhone/iPad support are available by appointment for a nominal fee and can be scheduled by calling our office.
All classes are currently taking place online due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines.
