Wayne shares black lives in song, dance and poetry. Pulitzer Prize poet Gwendolyn Brooks’s “A Bronzeville Mother Loiters in Mississippi. Meanwhile, a Mississippi Mother Burns Bacon” will be performed by dancers Stephanie Thibeault and Amaria Caruthers with vocals by Agnolia Gay and Lady Georgia with accompaniment by Tim Anthony. Discussion will follow.
