Enjoy an intimate spring evening inspired by the traditional cuisine of Sicily - simple, seasonal, and meant to be shared. Before gathering at the table, guests are invited to enjoy a guided tour of the farm connecting the land and produce to the meal. Rustic, relaxed, and shared family -style - the Sicilian Way!

Seasonal vegetables, citrus, and olive oil to open the evening
Main:
Apalla d'Agnello al Forno - slow-braised lamb shoulder with garlic, herbs, and olive oil
Contorno:
Local asparagus with olive oil, lemon, and sea salt
Dolce:
Fresh local strawberries with Marsala and citrus, served with a light spoon of sweetened ricotta and almond biscotti

Chef Margie Raimondo is a cookbook author, award-winning documentary filmmaker, and owner of Urbana Farmstead, Arkansas's only Mediterranean cooking school specializing in Sicilian cuisine. With over 30 years of research and culinary study in Sicily, Margie brings authentic traditional techniques and deep cultural knowledge to every class. She is the Sicily liaison for the Little Rock sister city commission and author of Mangiamo and the forthcoming Seeds of Sicily: A Culinary Inheritance. Her documentary The Soul of Sicily has been selected by 60+ film festivals worldwide. Margie grows heritage grains and vegetables on her working farm, connecting students directly to the land that feeds them - from soil to soul.
